The Learning Impact Leadership Institute is IMS Global’s signature annual conference where senior executives from colleges, universities, school districts, states, and technology organizations not only talk about change...but make change happen. Learning Impact is all about enabling a new generation of educational leadership.
The only global competition that recognizes the effective use of technology in context to support and improve K-12, higher education, and lifelong learning based on evidence of impact. In 2020, a panel of expert judges and votes from the edtech community-at-large selected eight medal winners from 23 finalists competing. All final projects are outlined in the annual Learning Impact Report, which provides an analysis of trends for the current year and offers a series of pragmatic themes, practices, and recommendations to help institutions and educational authorities determine if they have considered a broad range of potentially impactful technology innovation. The 2020 report releases in the fall. The nomination period for the 2021 competition opens in January.
The Learning Impact evaluators serve annually to evaluate the Learning Impact Award nominations, contribute to the development of the annual Learning Impact Report, and identify priorities needed to evolve the awards program.
