Biography
Kevin graduated from the University of Leeds in 1988 with BSc(Hon) in Computer Science before working as a software engineer across applications for fluid-flow simulation, human resource management and process control in software houses in the North of England. By 1992, Kevin had progressed from software engineer to team leader and then project manager, whilst also making the transition to working on applications for broadband networks under the European Commission's R & D Programmes. Since 1995, his responsibilities have centered around the creation and management of international projects in eLearning, notably RENAISSANCE, GESTALT, EASEL and GUARDIANS. Since joining IMS in September 2000 as Director of European Development, he has acted as co-lead in the IMS Content group, set up the Digital Repositories group and has been responsible for expanding European membership of IMS in Europe.
